Cricket IP Security

The compact, cost-effective Cricket IP camera features high resolution Sony CMOS Exmor sensors for excellent sensitivity and wide dynamic range (click here for video comparisons). Cricket supports multi-streaming and multi-casting, simultaneous support for both H.264 and MJPEG, 2D and 3D noise reduction, low power consumption, ONVIF-compliance, and Power over Ethernet. Designed and manufactured in Canada, Cricket can be purchased online directly from Point Grey, one of the world's leading manufacturers of industrial cameras.

Note: Cricket is recommended for customers familiar with the use of standard security IP cameras. Key differences between the Cricket IP security camera and other Point Grey cameras include:

  • Cricket produces compressed images only;
  • Cricket requires a 3rd party Video Management Software (VMS) and does not support FlyCapture SDK;
  • Cricket does not support external triggering or strobe capabilities.
